We recently went to Fairy Stone State Park which was different than we usually do. We normally travel to the OBX and stay there for a week, but this year we wanted to do something different. this was completely different. The drive took us about 5 hours, 4 cars following. We pulled the trailer with all the luggage, food and beach chairs. We had a lot of food. We got there on a Sunday. Unloaded the cars and trailer, and it POURED. We all unpacked and got situated and began our vacation. The first night we made Tacos for dinner and played games. Here is our lodge, We had 16 people and still had room for more!
We made our first campfire of the vacation and pigged out on some smores, one of my most favorite things in the world!!! We were all little kids again…
The 2 preggers:
I unfortunately did not get any pictures at the Lake, where we swam and stuff, because I didn’t want to take my nice camera out there and have it get ruined. So most of my pictures were taken at the house…eating.
One day we did do the Archery Class. It was fun. I didn’t get any bullseye though.
We looked for Fairy Stones one day… We found quite a few. They are cross shaped stones.
We visited Philpot's Dam, which was absolutely beautiful!
Took a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway, which was also gorgeous!
Sad vacations must come to an end, but now we can look forward to our next event. BABY!
